Fees

We pay the lion's share of the legal and valuation fees connected with purchasing a property. When staircasing, the valuation fee is again a nominal amount and does not reflect the true cost to us of providing the service.

On applying

When you apply you will send in £250  to cover legal and valuation fees (made up of valuation fee £40, legal package fee £210).  The Key to Affording your Home information booklet includes a full breakdown.

Your money is refundable if we can't help you, apart from the valuation fee.

You will receive a valuation report on your chosen property.

Legal expenses will vary with your chosen property and so they're paid later, direct to your solicitor.

On staircasing

When you staircase, your first step is to obtain a valuation from us. The fee is most cases is £15 but please check with us on this. The Next Move information booklet includes full details.

Your valuation fee is not refundable.
