Performance Review 2004


Our Annual Report 2004 celebrates the first 25 years of Co-Ownership in Northern Ireland and looks ahead to Co-Ownership's contribution in support of affordability and regeneration.  You can download the full report here.

SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTS FOR THE YEAR ENDING 31 MARCH 2004

Income

  1. 0% investments
  2. 11% rents
  3. 22% grant from DSD
  4. 67% property sales

Expenditure

  1. 6% operating costs, including property valuations
  2. 37% payments to DSD
  3. 57% property purchases

Grant Funding

  • Received from DSD             £7.9m
  • Returned to DSD                 £10.2m 

We received a total of £7.9m from the Department for Social Development in the form of Social Housing Grant.  This was used to purchase properties for Co-Ownership buyers.

We returned a total of £10.2m to the Department for Social Development in the form of repaid grant.  This was freed up from the sale of Co-Ownership properties (staircasing).

We therefore contributed a net total of £2.3m this year to the Department for Social Development's housing funds.
