Step 2 : Find a property
Check out properties that are up for sale in your area with local estate agents. This will give you a good idea of what you may expect to pay.
Any kind of property may be considered for Co-Ownership, anywhere in Northern Ireland, although there are some simple rules to bear in mind. See the 'Key to affording your home' leaflet for more details, but mainly
- We must value the property.
- The sale price must be inside the current value limits for Co-Ownership properties.
These depend on the council area and the number of bedrooms.
