Nicola McCrudden
Nicola McCrudden (CIHCM) is Chief Executive Officer at Homeless Connect. She has over 25 years experience working in the housing and homelessness sectors and specialises in cross tenure policy and practice. She serves on the Audit, Risk & Governance Committee.
Prior to joining CHNI in 2020 Nicola was a Senior Associate Consultant with Campbell Tickell, a multi-disciplinary management consultancy where she worked across the island of Ireland. She led on governance reviews, strategic planning and research projects for government departments, local authorities, and housing associations.
Between 2014-18 Nicola was Director at the Chartered Institute of Housing with responsibility for strategy and business development in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Before this, she headed up the policy and communications functions at Housing Rights.
Nicola has vast experience in housing policy development and public affairs management and has been involved in many advisory forums over the years. She has a sound knowledge and understanding of the housing market with direct experience of social and affordable housing, housing debt, social security, and the private rented sector. During her career, she has been involved in informing government policy in all these areas and has provided oral evidence to statutory committees at the NI Assembly and at Westminster.
Nicola is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing.
