Beverley joined the Board in 2016 and is also a member of the Audit, Risk and Governance Committee.
She is a Civil Servant, currently Director, Education Administration Delivery (Dept. of Education NI) – leading the scoping, development and delivery of an education reform programme to dissolve 5 Education and Library Boards and establish a single education authority on 1st April 2015.
Prior roles include:
- Head of Housing Investment Branch – Dept. for Social Development (NI) Leading & managing the £90m per annum Social Housing Development Programme through an Arms Length Body (NIHE) to address social housing need; including developing and implementing a programme of change to improve delivery and ensure 2,000 new homes delivered in 2014/15 and 1,275 new homes delivered in 2013/14.
- Head of Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry Branch – Office of First and deputy First Minister – Leading the development and implementation of a policy to establish an inquiry into Historical Institutional Abuse in NI, including managing and resolving complex issues around the format of the inquiry.
- Deputy Director Regional Development Office – Dept. for Social Development (NI) – leading and managing the development and implementation of a cross government strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal in 8 areas of deprivation with a budget of £8m/annum which included managing the complex needs of areas and capacity of business delivery partners.
