Daniel is a sustainability specialist working within the social housing sector of Northern Ireland. He serves on the Human Resources Committee.

With expertise in Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), Daniel’s work reflects the increasing importance of sustainability within business decision making. In addition, he is an advocate for a just transition to net-zero and believes that both public and private sectors have a crucial role to play in avoiding climate breakdown.

Daniel is a Queen’s graduate having studied a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development and is a member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).

Most recently Daniel has been involved in the delivery of decarbonisation within the social housing sector of Northern Ireland. His current areas of focus include retrofit for older social homes and the development of strategies to reduce embodied Carbon within the new-home supply chain.

In previous private sector roles Daniel led the delivery of award winning sustainability strategies compliant with leading credentials such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Science Based Targets (SBTi).
